Ingredients
- 2 handfuls of fresh spinach (or 200g thawed and squeezed-dry frozen spinach)
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 100g Quark (or curd cheese)
- 100g grated cheese (like mozzarella or cheddar, optional)
- A handful of sunflower seeds
- 150g smoked salmon
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a blender, add the spinach, eggs, grated cheese (optional) salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and well-combined.
After blending, mix in a handful of sunflower seeds by hand.
Step 2
Pour the mixture evenly over the lined baking tray.
Bake for about 10 minutes until the mixture is firm and set.
Step 3
Remove from the oven and allow the wrap to cool slightly.
Once cooled, spread a layer of Quark (curd cheese) over the spinach base.
Place the smoked salmon on top of the Quark layer.
Step 4
Roll the wrap carefully, then slice into small bite-sized pieces for a beautiful presentation.
