Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 50 g semolina
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cherry jam to taste
  • Ground cinnamon to taste

      Step by Step Instructions

      Step 1

      Heat the milk:

      Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it’s about to boil.

       

      Step 2

      Add semolina and cinnamon:

      Gradually sprinkle the semolina and ground cinnamon into the milk while stirring constantly.

       

      Step 3

      Cook:

      Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Continue to stir and cook the mixture until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

       

      Step 4

      Cool: Pour the semolina pudding into bowls or glasses and let it cool. You can let it cool at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

      Before serving, top the cooled semolina pudding with cherry jam.
