Honey Granola is a wholesome and delicious blend of organic whole grain oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, lightly sweetened with honey and infused with vanilla. By using organic whole grain oats, this granola offers an extra healthy touch, packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats. It’s a perfect nutritious breakfast or snack. Enjoy it with yogurt, milk, or on its own for a satisfying and energy-boosting treat.
Ingredients
- 400g organic whole grain oats
- 150-200g honey
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 100g pecans, roughly chopped
- 100g almonds, roughly chopped
- 50g sunflower seeds
- 50g pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 50g dried banana slices
- 50g dried cranberries

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, gently heat the honey and vanilla paste over low heat until the honey is thin and runny. This should take about 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally to combine the vanilla paste evenly.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the organic whole grain oats, chopped pecans, chopped almonds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Mix everything together with your hands or a large spoon to ensure even distribution.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the warm honey mixture over the oat and nut mixture. Add the salt and mix thoroughly until all the dry ingredients are well-coated with the honey.
Step 4
Spread the granola mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown. Be careful not to over-bake, as the nuts can burn quickly.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet. It will continue to crisp up as it cools.
Step 5
Once the granola has cooled, transfer it to a large bowl and mix in the dried banana slices and dried cranberries.
Store and Enjoy: Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature. Enjoy it with yogurt, milk, or as a crunchy snack on its own!
