  • 45 g rolled oats (quick oats for a smoother texture)
  • 60-80 g pitted dates (about 4-5 dates, depending on size)
  • 120 ml milk (or a dairy-free alternative like almond or oat milk)
  • 20-30 g honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (about 1 g)
  • A pinch of ground cloves (optional, around 0.25 g, for a stronger spiced flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, about 2 ml, for extra flavor)
  • A pinch of salt (around 1 g, to enhance flavors.

    Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1

    Prepare the Oats:

    Place the rolled oats in your mini food processor and pulse for a few seconds to break them down slightly for a smoother, creamier texture.

    Add the 240 g pumpkin purée, 60-80 g dates, 120 ml milk, 1 g cinnamon, ground cloves (if using), 20-30 g honey, 2 ml vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt into the food processor along with the oats.

    Blend everything together until smooth and creamy. You can add more milk if needed for a looser consistency.

    Step 3

    Chill or Serve Immediately:

    For a thicker consistency, transfer the mixture to a container and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour. This allows the oats to absorb more liquid and thicken.
