Ingredients

  • 350 ml water

  • 7g (one pack) yeast, dry

  • 250 g spelt flour

  • 300 g wheat flour

  • 1 tsp salt

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Put the water, dry yeast, flour and salt in a mixing bowl or food processor and knead into a smooth dough.

Cover the dough and let it rest for at least an hour.

Step 2

Knead the dough again and divide into three halves. Roll up pieces of dough like a sponge roll and roll it out to the usual baguette form.

 

Step 3

Preheat oven to 200°C.
Place the baguettes on the baking tray covered with baking paper. With a sharp knife, scratch the baguettes three times slightly diagonally in the middle of the surface.

Step 4

Place a refractory bowl with water on the bottom of the oven and bake the baguettes for 20 minutes.
