These golden brown crispy falafels are full of fresh herbs and they taste like heaven.
You can bake or fry them. Baking contain less fat the fry although there are also some amazing modern low fat fryers.

You can eat falafel on many ways, by putting it inside a pitta bread adding some fresh veggies or in a combination with salads and spreads in a bowl.

Ingredients
- 2 x 400 g cans of chickpeas, drained weight 240g
- handful of fresh Parsley
- handful of fresh Coriander
- 1 Onion
- 2-3 cloves of Garlic
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 0,5 tsp. Pepper
- 1 EL Cornstarch or wheat flour
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Drain the chickpeas well, then puree or chop in a food processor along with the remaining ingredients.
Scrape the mass down the sides a few times with a kitchen scraper and puree again until the mixture holds together.
Step 2
Put the mixture in the fridge for 1 – 2 hours so that it can firm up a bit. This way the falafel balls can be formed better.
Step 3
Now form small balls from the mixture with your hands or measure with an ice cream scoop. Choose the size and shape you want.
Step 4
Now fry the falafel balls in a hot air fryer or bake in the oven until they are crispy and lightly brown.
