This Jam has been prepared very simple with just a few Ingredients and also without a preserving sugar.

This is personally my favorit flavor of jam and it definetly has the most beautiful color. 🍑

You can enjoy this Jam in the morning with toast or a croissant, with scones or a yoghurt.

You can also fill it in a pastry cases.

Unopened, you can keep this jam up to 4 weeks in the fridge, if opened, it should be eaten within a few days.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of apricots
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 2 tsp liquid vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 3 teaspoons agar powder

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

The jar must be sterilized first. It has to be cleaned well, washed out in hot water, then placed in the oven at 120°C for about 15 minutes.

 

Step 2

Wash the apricots, cut in half, remove the stone and dice roughly.

 

Step 3

In a saucepan, boil the apricots with lemon juice, liquid vanilla extract and agave syrup for about 10 minutes, then puree finely with a blender. Finally add the agar powder, stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the finished jam into the sterile jars. Close the lid tightly and turn the glass upside down for 10 minutes. Let cool and store in the fridge. You can keep in refrigerator up to 4 weeks, unopened.
