Ingredients

  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 2 applesMorello cherries 680g /350g drained weight
  • 85 g plant-based margarine
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • 120 grams of wheat flour
  • 20 grams of rolled oats
  • 0,5 cinnamon

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Grease the baking pan.

 

Step 2

Wash, halve, core and dice the apples. Drain cherries. Squeeze the lemon and measure out the indicated
amount of lemon juice.

 

Step 3

Mix the apples with the cherries and spread on the baking dish.

 

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

 

Step 5

Mix the wheat flour with sugar, margarine, oats and cinnamon in a large bowl. Mix with hands until
crumbs form. Alternatively, you can use a hand mixer or food processor.

Step 6

Scatter the crumbs over the cherries and apples.

Step 7

Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden. It takes about 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
