This mango chia dessert in a glass is a simple, fresh, and naturally sweet treat — made with just a few ingredients and no baking required.

Frozen mango is blended with almond milk to create a smooth base, combined with chia seeds, and topped with a bit of creamy yogurt and fresh mango pieces. It’s light yet satisfying, perfect for warmer days or as a healthy dessert any time of year.

Ingredients

  • Frozen mango cubes

  • Almond milk (just enough to blend smoothly)

  • Maple syrup or other sweetener (optional, to taste)

  • Chia seeds (about 1.5 tbsp per glass)

  • Plain yogurt (for topping)

  • Fresh mango pieces (for garnish)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Blend the mango base:
In a blender, blend frozen mango with a splash of almond milk — just enough to create a smooth, thick puree. Add a bit of maple syrup or another sweetener if desired.

Step 2

Combine with chia seeds:
Pour the mango mixture into two serving glasses. Add about 1.5 tablespoons of chia seeds to each glass and stir well to combine.

 

Step 3

Add the topping:
Spoon a layer of plain yogurt over the mango-chia base and gently smooth it out.

Step 4

Decorate and chill:
Garnish with a few mango pieces on top. Cover and place in the fridge for several hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to thicken.
