Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1.5 teaspoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • Vegeta seasoning (or beef broth seasoning)
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Ground paprika
  • A little bit of salt
  • Oil (for frying)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and chopped onion. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, flour, and mix everything together well with your hands.

Next, add the ground paprika, black pepper, chopped fresh parsley, and Vegeta seasoning (or beef broth seasoning). Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.

Step 2

Form the mixture into small balls using your hands.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs on all sides until they are browned.

Step 3

Once the meatballs are browned, move them to one side of the pan. Add flour and paprika to the oil in the pan and mix well.

Move the meatballs back into the pan, ensuring they are coated in the paprika mixture. Then, add the tomato sauce and stir everything together.

Step 4

Let it cook for about 15 minutes, ensuring the meatballs are fully cooked through.

At the end, sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley on top.

Serve the Ćufte with mashed potatoes (or any side dish of your choice).
