Ingredients

  • A handful of fresh rose hips
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 organic orange, sliced
  • A few slices of fresh ginger
  • Water (enough to fill your pot)
  • Honey (to taste, optional)

    Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1

    Prepare the Rose Hips:

Rinse the fresh rose hips under cold water. Halve each one to release some juice, making it easier to infuse the flavors into the tea.

    Step 2

    Combine Ingredients:

In a small pot, add the prepared rose hips, cinnamon stick, star anise, orange slices, and ginger.

    Step 3

    Add Water:

Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, then bring it to a gentle boil.

    Step 4

    Simmer:

Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.

    Step 5

    Strain and Serve:

After simmering, strain the tea into your favorite cup or teapot.

    Step 6

    Sweeten (Optional):

If desired, stir in honey to taste for added sweetness.

Sip and enjoy your refreshing, fragrant rose hip orange tea!
