Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower (use only half for a 32cm round pizza form)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Tomato paste (to taste)
  • Dried oregano (to taste)
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced (to taste)
  • Tomato slices (to taste)
  • Grated cheese (to taste)
  • Fresh arugula (to taste)

      Step by Step Instructions

      Step 1

      Prepare the Cauliflower Crust:

Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).

Take half of the cauliflower head and break it into pieces. Place the pieces in a blender and blend until they become fine, rice-like crumbs.

Transfer the blended cauliflower into a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, and paprika powder to taste.

Crack the eggs into the bowl and mix everything together well using your hands or spoons.

      Step 2

      Bake the Cauliflower Crust:

Line a 32cm round pizza form with baking paper. Brush the baking paper with olive oil to prevent the cauliflower crust from sticking.

Spread the cauliflower mixture evenly on the baking paper, forming a round pizza base. The thinner the base, the faster it will bake.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Optionally, flip the crust halfway through baking to ensure even crispiness.

      Step 3

      Add Toppings and Bake:

Remove the crust from the oven. While it is still hot, spread tomato paste over the crust.

Sprinkle dried oregano on top of the tomato paste.

Add slices of fresh mozzarella and tomato, and sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the pizza.

Place the pizza back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts nicely and turns golden.

      Step 4

      Finish and Serve:

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Add fresh arugula on top of the pizza before serving.

Enjoy your delicious homemade cauliflower pizza!
