Lime, bursting with vitamin C, provides antioxidant support, aids digestion, and boosts collagen production for radiant skin.

Ginger, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, aids digestion, reduces nausea, and supports immune function.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • Handful of fresh spinach leaves
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 cup of milk (such as almond milk, coconut milk, or dairy milk)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)

      Step by Step Instructions

      Step 1

      Prepare the ingredients:

      Peel and pit the ripe avocado.

      Wash the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly.

      Juice the lime to obtain fresh lime juice.

      Peel and chop the small piece of fresh ginger.

      Peel and slice the frozen banana.

      Step 2

      In a blender, combine the prepared avocado, spinach leaves, lime juice, chopped ginger, frozen banana, honey or maple syrup, and milk.

      Step 3

      Add more or less milk depending on the desired thickness of the smoothie.

      If desired, add ice cubes for a colder smoothie.

      Step 4

      Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.

      Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lime juice, if needed.

       

      Step 5

      Pour the green smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
